Mrs. Betty Hodge, age 87 of Sharonville, Ohio and formerly of Brodhead, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Sharonville, Ohio.
She was born on August 24, 1928 in Brodhead, Ky., the daughter of the late Raymond Cherry Anderson and Mary Ellen Mae Purcell. She was a lifelong member of Brodhead Christian Church, where for many years she was the Organist.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lee Owens of Springdale, Ohio; her grandchildren: Christopher Shawn Owens, Rebecca Colleen Owens and Colin P. Owens. As well as a host of friends and neighbors.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hodge in 1949.
Visitation will be Friday, May 27, 2016 from 11AM until Funeral services at 1PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Tracy Valentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be made at www.marvineowensfuneralhome.com
