Bruce Allen Watson

Mr Bruce Allen Watson, age 40, husband of Jennifer Denise Watson, of Brodhead, KY., passed away, Monday, June 20, 2016 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

He was born on August 8, 1975 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of Bruce Jenkins and Terri Poe Watson. He had been employed at Deco Art of Stanford, KY.; he was a member of the Lancaster First Assembly Church of God; he found great joy in woodworking and mechanics.  On June 7, 1997 he was joined in matrimony to Jennifer Denise Benge and from that union came three children: Braxton Cole, Ellyannah Paige and Conner Allen Watson.

Those left to celebrate his life are: his wife of nineteen years, Jennifer Denise Watson of Brodhead, KY.; his children: Braxton Cole Watson and Ellyannah Paige Watson of Brodhead, KY.; his grandmothers: Kathleen Jenkins and Betty Watson; his grandfather: Forest Poe:  his sisters: Janell (Chris) Henry of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Sue Brown of Greenfield, Indiana; as well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Bruce was preceded in death by: his son: Conner Allen Watson; his brother: Bruce Mason Jenkins and his step-father: Odus Watson, Jr.

Visitation for Mr. Bruce Watson will be Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 6-9PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.  Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 24, 2016 at 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Wendell Johnson officiating; burial will follow in Negro Creek Cemetery.
