Connie Lynn (Singleton) Adkins

Connie Lynn Adkins, age 63 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Monday, April 10th, 2017, at the Rockcastle Hospital with family by her side. She was born on December 9th, 1953, to the late Edward Cecil & Chessie Lee (Holt) Singleton in Dayton, OH. She was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church; she enjoyed animals, working puzzles, playing computer games and most of all spending time with her family.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her children Christopher Allen (Verna) Harner of Clyde, OH., Kelley Lynn (Charles) Scriver of Clyde, OH., and Timothy Ryan (Amber) McClure of Stanford, KY.; her grandchildren Emiley, Laura, Gabriel, Gideon & Grayson Harner, Donald, Makala & Autum Scriver, Timothy Josiah & Izabella McClure; great-grandchild Violet Hall; her sister Alma Rebecca Singleton Daugherty of Mt. Vernon, KY.; a special niece Caitlin Daugherty; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besided her parents Connie was preceded in death by her grand-daughter Lydia Harner.

Visitation for Connie Adkins will be held Thursday, April 13th, 2017 at the Cornerstone Fellowship Church from 2pm-4pm with funeral services beginning at 4pm with Bro. Buford Parkerson officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery.

Casket Bearers are: Joey Daugherty, Greg Daugherty, Gabriel Harner, Gideon Harner, Shannon Parkerson & Chris Harner.

Honorary Casket Bearers are: Grayson Harner & Timothy Josiah McClure.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in memory of Connie be made to the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals for the burial fund.
