Dallas Ray Hubbard

Dallas Ray Hubbard, age 60, of Mt. Vernon, Ky. passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015. He was born in Madison County, Ky. on September 22, 1954, a son of the late Frank Hubbard and Glessie Marie Overbay Hubbard. He retired from the Army after 19 years of service and attended the Sand Hill Baptist Church.  Mr. Hubbard enjoyed video games, puzzles, walking and reading the Bible and he especially enjoyed being with his family.

Mr. Hubbard is survived by his mother : Glessie Marie Overbay Hubbard of Livingston, Ky.: 2 children: David and Danny Hubbard of South Carolina; his twin sister, Alice Mason (Eugene), his sister Connie Brewer both of Livingston, Ky.; 2 brothers:   Jerry Hubbard (Lora) of Mt. Vernon, Ky. and Frank Edward Hubbard (Sue) of Lawton, Okla.  Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his father , Mr. Hubbard was  preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Billy Gene Hubbard and Larry Hubbard and an infant sister, Linda Kay Hubbard.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 2 pm at the Sand Hill Baptist Church Shelter with Bro. Elzie Doan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Dallas Hubbard Burial Fund, P.O. Box 658, Brodhead, Ky. 40409.
