David Daniel Brock

Mr. David Daniel Brock, age 68, of Brodhead, affectionately known as “Diamond Dave” passed away Tuesday, Feb.2, 2016 at Rockcastle Health & Rehabilitation Facility.

David was born on April 22, 1947 in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of the late Chester Coit Brock and Lilly Mae Helton Brock. He was a graduate of Brodhead High School and a member of Northside Baptist Church where he was a member of the Choir.  He found great joy in serving the Lord, was an avid sports fan, enjoying University of Kentucky Wildcats, the Cincinnati Reds and Rockcastle Co. High School Sports. David was well known for being the Rockets # 1 fan.  He was involved and committed to numerous sports activities in the County.

David leaves behind a host of church family, friends and neighbors who will greatly miss him. He was an inspiration to all.

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Coit Brock (1/18/1910-5/2/1988) & Lilly Mae Helton Brock (2/22-1907-6/11/1954)

Visitation for David will be Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 from 4-8PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at 1PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Randal Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery.
