Earlene Spurlin Obituary

Earlene (McClure) Spurlin, age 64, passed away on Monday, February 12th, 2018 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY. Earlene was born January 2nd, 1954 in Rockcastle County, KY. to the late Edward McClure and Margaret Elizabeth (Ward) McClure.

Earlene enjoyed NASCAR, loved driving her truck, watching westerns, loved great-nephew, Josie McClure. She was of the Baptist faith.

Earlene is survived by her brothers: Eddie Lee (Carmen) McClure of IN. and Ellis Darrell McClure of Brodhead, KY: The following nieces and nephews: Bonnie (Mike) Stahl, Julie (Russ)Hatton, Danny Zehring, Amy (Brent) Holmes, Jeff McClure (Rhonda), Tracy Wyatt (Marty), Johnny McClure (Toni) and Jamie McClure (Ashley Neal).

Many great nieces and nephews and many loving step nieces and nephews.

Special friends: Ruby (William) Day

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Spurlin.

Visitation for Earlene Spurlin will be Thursday, February 15th, 2018 from 12 PM – 2 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral Service for Earlene Spurlin will be Thursday, February 15th, 2018 at 2 P.M. with Bro. Mark Eaton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery
