Elbert Stanley Reed

Mr. Elbert Stanley Reed 63, husband of Paula (Proctor) of Brodhead, KY. departed this life September 22, 2017 at the Compassionate Care Center of Richmond, KY.

Stanley entered into this life March 10, 1954 the son of the late Elbert Preacher and Irene Christian Morris Reed. Stanley and Paula were united in holy matrimony February 6, 2016. He loved gardening and fabrication of everything. He was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife; Paula (Proctor) Reed of Brodhead, KY.; his daughter; Rebecca Reed Hammons of Hamilton, OH. His step children: Tanner Allen of Brodhead, KY.; Heather Allen Bradley of Brodhead, KY, and Willy McCollum of Crab Orchard, KY. Nine grandchildren; Jacquelin & Gabriel Hammons, Stanley McCollum, Brent Bradley, Catelyn Snyder, Trenton & Ethen Kates, John & Edward Portier. Two brothers: Ray Reed & (Partner) Donna Farrell of Florida; and Rusty & (wife) Cyndi Reed of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Elbert Preacher and Irene Christian, wife; Sally Randolph Reed, a daughter; Vicky McCollum; one grandchild; Jessica Hammons; and a sister Lisa Reed Davis.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 11AM until the Service at 12Noon at the Western Rockcastle Fire Department with Robbie Cable and Dwight McMullin officiating. Food and Fellowship will follow the service.
