Mrs. Elsie Virginia Cummins Taylor, age 79 of Nicholasville, Ky., passed away Thurs. May 19, 2016 at the Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born on November 1, 1936 at Withers, Ky., a daughter of the late Money T. Cummins and Nell Gray Mink Cummins. She retired from the Square D Company after 39 years of service. She found great enjoyment in refurbishing old furniture.
She is survived by her son: Anthony Wayne Taylor (Terry Ann) of Nicholasville, Ky.; her grandson: Travis Von Taylor (Jessica) of Wilmore, Ky.; and great grandchildren: Camden Von Taylor and Easton Wayne Taylor.
Also surviving are her brothers: Money Ed Cummins of Crab Orchard, Ky; and Garlan Cummins (Rachel) of Brodhead, Ky.; her sisters: Ruby Jo Lubarsky (Joe) of Louisville, Ky.; and Lula Strahm of Hendersonville, N.C.; and a sister-in-law, Ina Cummins of Crab Orchard, Ky.; her brother-in-law: William Saylor of Lexington, Ky. as well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters: Nancy Katherine Dallaire, Linda Oneida Cummins and Vivian Louise Saylor; brothers: Henry Fortner Cummins, Vernon Cummins, and Dee James Cummins; Nephews: Stewart Cummins & Mike Saylor.
Visitation will be Sunday May 22, 2016 from 11AM until the Funeral service at 2PM with Bro. Rick Reynolds Officiating; burial will follow in the Old Fairview-Mullins Station Cemetery, at Mullins Station.
