Gary Lee Day, 51 of Brodhead, passed away Friday, April 21st, 2017 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on November 25th, 1965 to the Charles Edward & Betty Lou (Ross) Day. He was a highway worker by trade and enjoyed collecting Knives, Baseball Cards and Marbles.
Those left to celebrate his life are: his children Shadoe Day of Brodhead, KY., Jordan Chase Brown & Shyanna Grace Denny; his loving fiancée Melissa Rena Brown; his grandson Damian Shayde Day; his brother Charles Arthur Jr. (Virginia) Day of Berea, KY.; his sister Shirley Ann Hopkins of Mt. Vernon, KY.; his uncles Arthur Ray Ross & Jerry Ross both of Brodhead, KY.; as well as many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Edward Day.
Visitation for Gary will be held on Monday, April 24th, 2017 from 12-2pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral services will begin at 2pm with Bro. Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.
