Geoffrey Pearl Fugate, age 33, of Somerset, Ky., passed away January 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 3, 1982, a son of Bonnie Lou Renner and Gregory Pearl Fugate. He was employed in the restaurant industry. Geoffrey was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed photography and astronomy.
Geoffrey is survived by his mother: Bonnie Lou Renner Drew, Orlando, Ky. and his father: Gregory Pearl Fugate (Joan Murphy), Greenfield, Ohio; his step-father: Nelce Drew, Orlando, Ky.; brothers: Chad Fugate, Darris Messinger, Ryan Messinger Brodhead, Ky., Tim Fugate of North Carolina, Jacob Fugate of Atlanta, Georgia, Mitchell Scott Drew (Zelda) of Levern, Tennessee and Phillip Nelson Drew (Angel) of Hamilton, Ohio; sister: Mary Fugate of Atlanta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Edna Joyce Renner Messinger, Shelby Fugate and Virginia Fugate Lynch and one uncle: Tim Fugate.
Visitation for Geoffrey Fugate will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the New Hope Baptist Church from 11 am-2 pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 2 pm, also at the church with Bro. David Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnetta Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the New Hope Baptist Church or to the Johnetta Cemetery in Geoffrey’s memory.
