Mrs. Gledia (Blair) Todd, age 65 of Crab Orchard, departed this life on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
She was born on February 18, 1951 in Kite, KY., a daughter of the late Jesse and Ella Hall Blair. She was a member of Brodhead Baptist Church and found great joy in flowers, gardening, crocheting and round track racing. She was an 11+ year employee at Mt. Vernon Plastics. On August 26, 1972 she was united in matrimony to Oscar Wayne Todd and from that union came three children: Teddy Wayne, Jessica Elaine, Jeffrey Dewayne.
Those left to celebrate her life are her husband of forty three years, Wayne Todd of Crab Orchard, KY; her children: Jessica Elaine (Mark) Lawson of Brodhead, KY; and Jeffrey Dewayne (Kayla) Todd of Bee Lick, KY; her grandchildren: Jacob & ArieAnna Lawson, Hayden & Riley Todd, Brayden & Brailyn Skinner and Eliza Evans; her sister: Janice Hall of Kite, KY. as well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.
Besides her parents, Jesse and Ella Blair, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Teddy Wayne Todd; brothers: Jesse Blair, Jr., and Patrick Blair; sisters: Revel Archey, Hermie Childress, Eula Brummett, Annette Hall and infants Neva Jean Blair and Leslie Mae Blair.
Visitation for Mrs. Gledia Todd will be Wed. May 18, 2016 from 5-9PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral services will be conducted Thurs. May 19, 2016 at 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Ralph Baker and Bro. Luther Allen officiating; burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.
