Glenda Darlene Wallin

Mrs. Glenda Darlene Wallin, age 56, of Somerset, KY., passed away Wed. October 12, 2016 at Markey Cancer Center in Lexington, KY.

She was born September 5, 1960 in Rockcastle County, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Emma Jean Hall Mink.  She was a homemaker who was of the Baptist faith, and found great enjoyment in fishing, four wheeling and loving her grandchildren.  On December 29, 1976, she was united in marriage to Ernest Wallin.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband of 39 years, Ernest Wallin of Somerset, KY.; her children: Richard Shane Mink of Somerset, KY., Angela Renee (Will) Branscum of Somerset, KY., Heather Dawn Powell of Science Hill, KY., and Robert Dwayne (Shenea) Wallin of Science Hill, KY.; grandchildren Desiree Bailey, Brittany Wallin, Amber Baily, Brandon Mink, Andrew Branscum, Collin Mink, Lasha Wallin, Zackary Wallin and Abbey Wallin; great grandchildren Preston, Carter and Paisley; brothers Tim Mink of Poutine, IN. and Rex (Patricia) Mink of Somerset, KY.; sisters Connie Morgan of Willis, TX.; Sherry  ( Dwight) Morgan of IN.; Michelle (Randy) McClure of Mt. Vernon, KY.; and Lavonda (Allen) Helton of Berea, KY.; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Visitation for Mrs. Glenda Wallin will be Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6-9PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12:00pm, at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Jason Ivey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mize Cemetery.
