Joann Mae McNally, 48 of Mt. Vernon, wife of Gary, departed this life Sunday, August 20th, 2017 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital. Joann was born on October 2nd, 1968 in Lancaster, KY; a daughter of George & Violet Hodge. On August 19th, 1995, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Gary McNally and from that union came Shania. She was a member of Northside Baptist and she enjoyed her dogs, flowers, frogs and Facebook. She was also a caretaker to children with special needs through the Christian Appalachian Project.
Those left to celebrate her life are: her Husband of 22 years, Gary McNally; her daughter Shania Leeanna McNally of Mt. Vernon, KY; her foster parents Lester (Janice) Caldwell; as well as many friends and neighbors.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017, at the Scaffold Cane Cemetery with Bro. Lester Caldwell officiating.
