Johnny W Adams

Johnny Wright Adams, 75, husband of Betty Lou Adams, passed away on Monday January 15th, 2018 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center in Mt. Vernon. He was born on November 19th, 1942 in Brodhead, KY to the late Herbert Wright & Lena Belle (Holcomb) Adams. On August 28th, 1964 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Betty Lou Hamm and from that union came Courtney. He had retired from Parker Seal Company after 39 years of service as a production manager. He was a Deacon at the Maretburg Baptist Church as well as a Sunday school teacher. Johnny took great joy in farming.

Those left to celebrate his life are: his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Lou Adams; his son Courtney Wright (Amber) Adams of Somerset, KY; his brother Herbert Ray (Diane) Adams of Eubank, KY; as well as many nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Dale Adams.    

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2PM on Friday, January 19th, 2018 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Wayne Harding officiating. Burial will follow in Sayer Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 18th, 2018 from 4PM-7PM.

Casket Bearers will be Shawn Hamm, Kevin Hamm, Steven Hamm, John Hamm, Greg Hamm, & Kevin Ray Adams.
