Joy Pauline Boone Lile, 76 of Lexington, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James “Jim” Boone and Roxie Mae O’Neal Boone, passed away Monday, October 30th, 2017 at the Mayfair Manor in Lexington, KY. She was born on December 25th, 1940 in Luner, KY. She enjoyed music and attended Tates Creek Christian Church.
Those left to celebrate her life are: her children James (Sheila) Lile of Lexington, KY, Julie (Michael) Smitson of Greenwood, IN and John (Tara) Lile of Indianapolis; her grandchildren Taylor, Faith, Landon, and River Martin; her great grandchild Ezra; her brother James (Peachie) Boone; her sisters Nina Jean Johnson and Glenna Pletcher; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Boyd Boone.
Visitation for Joy Pauline Lile will be held Saturday, November 4th, 2017 from 11AM to 1PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM on Saturday, November 4th, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Tommy Simpson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Phelps Cemetery.
