Mrs. Lulie Jane Bowling, age 76, of Brodhead, Ky., passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Facility.
She was born on July 5, 1940 in Boone County, W. Va., a daughter of the late Sidney Johnson McNeely and Mammie Elizabeth Warner McNeely. She was of the Baptist faith, and found great joy in working puzzles, and playing cards. She retired from Knights Inn and the Carrousel Inn.
Those left to mourn her passing include her sisters: Anna (John) Yadon of Demossville, Ky; Loretta Robinson of Wellston, Ohio; and special sister and brother-in-law, who were her caregivers, June (Jerry) Harper of Brodhead, Ky; her eleven nephews and six nieces, and a host of great nephews/nieces; as well as a host of friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bowling; brothers: Junior McNeely, William George Henry McNeely, James McNeely; sister: Pauline McNeely; brother-in-law: Charlie Robinson; nieces: Sheila Renee Harper Lovell and Debra Lynn Daniels.
Visitation for Mrs. Lulie Bowling will be Friday July 22nd, 2016 from 12 – 3pm. Funeral services will be conducted Friday July 22nd, 2016 at 3pm with Bro. Ricky Horn officiating; burial will follow in Cresthaven Cemetery.
