Laverne Long, age 74, died Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital. Laverne was born on October 17, 1942, the daughter of the late Cecil and Ozella Taylor Long.
She was a longtime resident of Arnie Gentry Road in the Eubank, KY. area and spent her last years living at the Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Center, Brodhead, KY. where she enjoyed creating art projects, playing Bingo, and visiting with others. Laverne also enjoyed collecting knickknacks and treasured the greeting cards she received throughout the years. She was a member of Fairview Church of Christ.
Her Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at the Fairview Church of Christ at 5:00P.M. with Bro. Curt Herrington officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00P.M. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery
