Linda Michelle (Sowder) Bond

Linda Michelle Bond, 43 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Monday, September 11th, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 17th, 1974 to the late Ulysis “Liss” & Betty Sue (Taylor) Sowder in Somerset, KY. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband Bobby Ray Bond of Pine Hill, KY; her children Stephen Ray Bond & Logan Bond both of Brodhead, KY; her brothers Ricky (Sandy) Sowder of Pine Hill KY, Gary Sowder of Pine Hill, KY, & Danny Ray (Tina) Sowder of Mt. Vernon, KY; her sisters Connie (Paul) Payne of Pine Hill, KY, Debra (Jimmy) Prewitt, Deloris (Jeff) Owens & Barbara (George) Dooley all of Mt. Vernon, KY; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Randall Sowder; infant sister Bonnie Sowder; and maternal grandparents Bill & Julie Taylor.

Visitation for Linda will be held from 11AM-1PM on Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with funeral services being conducted at 1PM with Bro. Chris Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at the Sowder Family Cemetery.
