Linda Sue (Cromer) Mink

Mrs. Linda Sue (Cromer) Mink, age 68 of Mt. Vernon passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

She was born on November 11, 1946 in Blue Springs, Kentucky, a daughter of the late John “Rank” Cromer and Laura McClure Cromer.  She was a member of Blue Springs Church of Christ, and had been a 29 year employee of Hyster Manufacturing in Berea.  Linda found great joy in her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, but loved people in general. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother.  On February 19, 1965 she was united in holy matrimony to Charles D. Mink, and from that union came three children, Kathy, Tony, and Carolyn.

Those left to celebrate her life is her husband of fifty years, \Charles D. Mink of Mt. Vernon; her children: Kathy (Edwin) Robinson of Mt . Vernon; Tony Mink of Mt. Vernon; and Carolyn Hubbard (Dale King) of Brodhead.  Her grandchildren: Jamey Robinson, Jessica (Anthony) Mason; Robert (Casaundra) Mink; Michelle Mink; Bryan Marler (Danielle Abed); and Valerie Marler (Matt Renner). Her great grandchildren: Caiden, Aryonna and Nevaeh Miller.  Her brothers: Austin (Connie) Cromer of Mooresville, Ind.; Larry Cromer of Mt. Vernon; Troy  (Verla) Cromer of Mt. Vernon; and Coy (Gail) Cromer of Mt. Vernon. Her sister-in-law: Ruby Cromer of Brodhead.   As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Glenn Cromer and Infant Clenton Cromer.

Visitation for Mrs. Linda Sue Mink will be Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 from 6-9PM and Thursday. October 8th, 2015 from 10AM- 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 8th, 2015 at 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bros. Marcus and Gary Reppert officiating.  Burial will follow in the High Dry Cemetery.
