Norma Ruth (Fish) Coffey

Mrs. Norma Ruth Coffey of Berea, age 76, passed away Monday September 12th, 2016 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. Mrs. Coffey was born on October 24th, 1939 to the late Robert and Josie (Thomas) Fish in Wildie, KY. On September 24th, 1959 Mrs. Coffey was united in holy matrimony to her late husband Charlie Coffey and from that union came five children: Debbie, Joe, Kenny, Scottie and Lyndon. She was a homemaker who enjoyed flowers, music, gardening and spending time with family.

Those left to celebrate Mrs. Coffey’s life are her children: Debbie (Harold) Robinson of Mt. Vernon, KY., Joe (Faye) Coffey of Livingston, KY., Kenny (Kelley) Coffey of Mt. Vernon, KY., Scottie (Wanda) Coffey of Mt. Vernon, KY., and Lyndon Coffey of Berea, KY.; nine grandchildren: Dustin Robinson, Laiken Coffey, Kyle Coffey, Tammy Satterfield, April Coffey, Kerra Coffey, Christian Coffey, Ashley Anderson and Jay Anderson; two great-grandchildren: Alli Satterfield and Jocelyn Satterfield; a brother: Edward Fish; a special friend Sherry Daniels; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents Mrs. Coffey was also preceded in death by her husband Charlie Coffey and three brothers: Bobby Fish, Earl Fish and Billy Fish.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 16th, 2016 at 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Rick Reynolds officiating. A visitation will be held from 11AM until the funeral hour. Burial will follow at the Briarfield Cemetery.
