Mr. Robert L. Denney, age 72 of Brodhead, Ky., passed away Sat. October 8, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky.
He was born on August 8, 1944 in Crab Orchard, Ky., a son of the late Carl and Marie Todd Denney. He was of the Pentecostal faith, and had been a self-employed laborer most of his life.
He is survived by five step children: Pamela Rose of Indianapolis, Ind., James Kenny (Brenda) Rose of Monrovia, Ind., Patricia Rose, Brenda Coleman and Carol Forsythe all of Washington Courthouse, Oh.; brother: Carl (Diana) Denney, Jr. of Cincinnati, Oh.; sisters: Loretta (Charles) Gilliam of London, Ky; and Juanita Harrison of Danville, Ky; as well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.
Besides his wife, Anna Margaret Bradford Denney, and parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Charles William Denney, Carlos Denney, and Danny Denney; sisters: Elizabeth Denney and Frances Napier.
Gravesides services for Mr. Robert L. Denney will be conducted Wed. Oct. 12, 2016 at 1PM, Woodstock Cemetery with Bros. Harold Harness and Rick Reynolds officiating.
