Shelia Faye (Brock) Severance

Mrs. Shelia Faye Severance, 70 of Brodhead, wife of Dallas, the daughter of the late Rev. Virgil & Rissie (Overbay) Brock, passed away Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 at the Rockcastle Hospital. She was born on September 27th, 1947 in Brodhead, KY. On December 17th, 1965 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Dallas Severance and from that union came two children, Melissa & Chad. They had enjoyed 52 years together. She loved her children, grandchildren, crafting and shopping. She was a member of the Union Chapel Pentecostal Church in Brodhead, KY.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her children Melissa (Phillip) Mann of Hamilton, OH and Chad Phillip (Delora Beth) Severance of Lancaster, KY; her grandchildren Brittany Nicole (Zachary) Warren - Shevchenko, Jonah Nathaniel Severance & Bryce Phillip Severance; her brothers Melvin (Helen) Brock of Brodhead, KY & Doug (Judy) Brock of Mt. Vernon, KY; her sisters Barbara (Audy) Faulkner of Copper Creek, KY, Phyllis Benge of Mt. Vernon, KY, Gloria Brock of Hamilton, OH & Linda (Danny) Knox of Brodhead, KY; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.     

Visitation for Mrs. Shelia will be held from 5-8PM on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be conducted 2PM on Friday, October 27th, 2017 at the funeral home with Bro. Jeremy Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Maretburg Cemetery.
