Vicki Lynn (Jones) Whiteley

Ms. Vicki Lynn Jones Whiteley age 57, of Mt. Vernon Kentucky, departed this life January 7, 2016 at the Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Brodhead, Kentucky.

Vicki entered into this life September 19, 1958 in Manhattan, Kansas the daughter of: Ronald Dean and the late Rosemary Chaney Jones. Vicki worked for the Rockcastle Regional Hospital for 35 years as a Registered Nurse; she loved taking the time to care for others in their time of sickness. She also loved going out and eating at Restaurants and spending time with family and friends; Vicki was a member of the Ottawa Baptist Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her father: Ronald Dean Jones, her two children Jessica Lynn Lowery Clay and husband  Danny of Louisville, Kentucky; and Chelsea Elizabeth Millsaps and husband A.J. of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one Grandson: Carson Daniel Clay; one brother: Michael Dean and Elizabeth Jones of Brodhead, Kentucky; one sister Janice Carol Mullins of Brodhead, Kentucky. She is also survived by her nieces: Sarah Mullins Oliver and husband Chase and their son: James, Lindsey Jones; two nephews: Christopher Mullins and Lucas Jones.

Besides her Mother: Rosemary Chaney Jones, she was preceded in death by a beloved brother-in-law: Doug Mullins.

Visitation for Ms. Vicki Lynn Whiteley will be Sat. January 9, 2016 from 5-8PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday January 10, 2016 at 2PM, at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Jim Craig officiating; burial will follow in Ottawa Cemetery.
