Wendell Robinson, 58, of Orlando, KY. died Saturday July 23rd, 2016, at the Hospice Center in Richmond. Wendell was born in Rockcastle County to the late John and Gladys Robinson. On July 15th, 1977, Wendell was united in Holy Matrimony to his wife Diana of 39 years. Wendell was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed fishing as well as spending time with his grandchildren.
Wendell is survived by one daughter: Susan (Brian) McNew of Orlando, KY.; two sons: Robert Robinson, Billy (Brandy) Robinson of Orlando, KY.; six brothers: Donald (Katherine) Robinson, James (Edna) Robinson, Timothy (Kimberly) Robinson and Daniel Robinson all of Orlando, KY.; Harold (Debbie) Robinson and Lonnie Joe Robinson of Mt. Vernon, KY.; and four sisters: Patricia Artley, Hazel (Ray) Moore and Louise (Danny) Rigsby of Orlando, KY. and Sandra (Jeff) Smith of Livingston, KY. Wendell is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Alexis (Smoo), Zach, Paige, Brooke, Emma (Sugar Doll), Kyndall, Jaxon (Mr. 20), Lyndsay and Mykah of Orlando, KY as well as a host of nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
Wendell was preceded in death by his parents as well as one brother John Robinson Jr.
Visitation for Wendell Robinson will be held on Tuesday July 26th, 2016 at the Brush Creek Holiness Church from 6-9pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm. on Wednesday July 27th, 2016 at the Brush Creek Holiness Church with Bro. Lonnie McGuire officiating.
