Benny Miller

Benny Miller, age 77, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Saturday, April 13, 2024.  Benny was a true and faithful servant to the Lord.  He lived his life helping others.  Benny was a pastor and member of First Church of Jesus Christ.

Benny was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many,

Benny was born on May 18, 1946, in Mt. Vernon, Ky.  He was a retired truck driver and farmer.  He was a Ky. Colonel.

Benny is survived by his wife, Vivian Overbay Miller, who he married Sept. 11, 1965.  He is also survived by five children: Connie (Tim) Williams, Floyd (Desiree) Miller, Carolyn (Kenny) Barger, Joe (Crissy) Miller and Jeff (Tabitha) Miller and 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Also surviving are three brothers: James Miller, Carl Miller and Kenneth Miller and 5 sisters: Jenny Martin, Betty Miller, Nevanda Doan, Mary Woodall and Geneva Owens.

Benny was precededed in death by an infant son, Raymond Miller, his parents, Robert and Edna Miller and a brother, Billy Miller.

Public visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 12Noon -2PM at Owens Chapel in Brodhead, Ky. with burial following at McKinney Blue Springs Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Marvin Cromer.

Pallbearers will be Floyd Miller, Joe Miller, Jeff Miller, Tim Williams, Matthew Poynter, Brian Miller, Ethan Mille

r and Kenny Barger.
