AGNES HARRISON Obituary

Mrs. Agnes Harrison, age 82 of Brodhead, widow of Everett, passed away Thurs. March 15, 2018 at her home.

She was born on Feb. 8, 1936 in Perry Co., Kentucky, the daughter of the late Joe Cephus and Ella Nolan Collett. She had been a homemaker, was of the Holiness faith, and found great joy in her family, flowers and gardening. On Jan. 14, 1953 she was united in marriage to Everett Harrison, and they enjoyed 63 years together prior to his passing on April 29, 2016.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her children: Pearl (Oppie) Sowder of Brodhead, Ky; Charlotte (Gary) Hendricks of Brodhead, Ky; Barbara Frith of Mt. Vernon, Ky; Wilbur (Tammy) Harrison of Brodhead, Ky; and Wayne Harrison of Brodhead, Ky. Her grandchildren: Rodney, Jennifer, Ruthie, Kristy, Ella, Josh, Jessica and Michelle. Her great grandchildren: Brandon, Cella, Harley, Tyler E., Tyler H., Eric Madison, Tanner, Johnathan, Kacee, Jacob, Jack, Austin, Erin, Aubrey and Preston. Her great-great grandchild: Liam. Her son-in-law: Donnie Barnes. Her special friends: Hal Holbrook Jr. and Ronnie Stevens, as well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Jo Ann Barnes.

Visitation for Mrs. Agnes Harrison will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 6-9PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2PM, at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Tracy Valentine officiating; burial will follow in the Oakhill Cemetery.
