BENNY WOODALL Obituary

Mr. Benny Woodall, age 79 of Brodhead, Ky. passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Baptist Health –Lexington, Ky.

Benny was born on May 23, 1938, in Brodhead, Ky., a son of the late Leonard and Martha Elizabeth Northern Woodall. He had been a carpenter and found great joy in drag racing, auto mechanics, and woodworking. He was also a NASCAR enthusiast.He had been a longtime member of the NRA, Carpenter’s Union (IKORCC), and NHRA (National Hot Rod Association).

Those left to celebrate his life are his children: Karen Sue Elmore of Oklahoma; Shanda Michelle (Kevin) Scott of Richmond, Ky.; Joey Wayne Woodall of Chicago; his grandchildren: Jordan and Dreanna; and a great-grandchild: Damien. The mother of his children: Mary Coffey of Oklahoma. His brothers: Donnie (Carolyn) Woodall, Henry (Nadine) Woodall, Jerry (Verva) Woodall, Teddy (Kim) Woodall and Danny Woodall all of Brodhead, Ky. His sisters: Glynn Rose Lake of Cincinnati, Ohio; Betty Lou Renner of Mt. Vernon, Ky; Brenda Woodall of Brodhead, Ky. and Patsy (Wayne) Schumacher of Fairfield, Ohio. As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Charles “Chunky” Woodall, Leslie Woodall, Jimmy Woodall, Jenny Woodall and Ricky Woodall.

Visitation for Mr. Benny Woodall will beWed. March 7, 2018, from 6-9PM. Funeral services will be conducted Thurs. March 8, 2018, at 2 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro.
