Barbara Fetters Obituary
Ms. Barbara Jean Saylor Fetters, age 62, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY.
Barbara was born of June 6, 1957 in Garrard County to the late James Eaton and the late Mabel Saylor. She had a strong faith in the Lord, was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, and gardening.
Those left to celebrate her life are her sons: Roger E. (MaryBeth) Hasty of Elizabethtown, KY, and Joshua (April) Fetters of Brodhead, KY; five grandchildren: Jacob Hasty, Evan Hasty, Kendra Fetters Gibson, Ethan Fetters Gibson, and Jamison Fetters; one brother: Rant (Joyce) Saylor of Brodhead, KY; and three sisters: Gladous Hazlett of Mt. Vernon, KY, Burline (Taylor) Blaire of Lancaster, KY, and Evelyn (Claude) Tuttle of Berea, KY.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brother: Jasper Denney and Merle Lee Saylor, and five sisters: Rosetta Lowery, Iona Barrett, Lula McCarty, Betty Helton, and Susie Deborde.
Services for Ms. Barbara Fetters will be conducted at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, KY. Visitation will be Sunday August 11 from 6-9pm. Funeral services will be Monday, August 12 at 1:00 pm with Bro. Ray Owens officiating, burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery in Cartersville, KY.
Casket bearers will be Roger E. Hasty, Joshua Fetters, Ray Owens, Michael Saylor, Robert Debord, and Burley Burkhart.
