Benjamin Franklin Jones, age 72, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital. He was born on July 11, 1945 in Pine Hill, KY to the late George and Margie Bell Jones. He was a member of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed farming, fishing, and riding horses.

Those left to celebrate his life are: two children: Benjamin Franklin Jones Jr. (Cindy) of Livingston, KY, and Christopher Scott Jones of Mt. Vernon, KY, three brothers: Don (Carol) Jones of Mt. Vernon, KY, Billy (Marrietta) Jones of Brodhead, KY, and Jimmie O. Jones of Brodhead, KY; three sisters: Barbara Cranert of Inverness, FL, Kathleen Bishop of Mt. Vernon, KY, and Janie Crews of Middletown, OH, and four grandchildren: Amanda Jones, Abigail Jones, Blake Jones, and Elijah Jones, three great-grandchildren: Jaeleigh Hayes, Brayden Jones, and Karleigh Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Delbert Jones and Edward Jones, and one sister, Betsy Ramsey.

Visitation for Benjamin Franklin Jones will be at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel, Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 11:00am followed by the service at 2:00pm. Service will be conducted by Bro. Randal Adams. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery.
