Mr. Charles Edward Bullock, age 85 of Berea, KY., passed away Sunday, April 1st, 2018 at the Terrace Rehabilitation Facility in Berea, Ky.
He entered this life on June 13, 1932 in Wabd, KY. the son of the late Floyd Bullock and Eva Payne Bullock, both of whom preceded him in death. On August 4, 1956 he was united in marriage to Rose Doyle Bullock, and they shared a wonderful life together for 61 years. He was a retired Parker Seal employee. He will be remembered by his friends and family for his love of woodworking, taking care of his yard and home, and attending church and gospel singings, and the love he gave to his family. He was a member of Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church where he served on the Board of Trustees. He served in the US Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict. He had also been a member of the Brodhead Volunteer Fire Department.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rose Doyle Bullock, Berea, KY; One daughter, Debbie (Bill) Bradley of Berea, KY; two granddaughters: Breanna (Jon) Adams of Brodhead, KY and Taryn (Brian) Poole of Richmond, KY; two brothers: Bobby Bullock of Eubank, KY; Jimmy Bullock of Blue Ash, OH and four sisters: Louise Renner of West Chester, OH; Annalene Renner of Richmond, OH; Reba Cash of Ottawa, KY and Elva (Frank) Cook of St. Louis, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Bullock and Henry Bullock.
Visitation for Mr. Charles Edward Bullock will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 6-9pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals and Friday, April 6, 2018 from 12noon-2PM at Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2pm @ Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church with Bro. Randal Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Madison Memorial Gardens, Richmond, Ky. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church. Casket Bearers will be Paul Doyle, Larry Doyle, Greg Bullock, Jon Adams, Bill Bradley and Ron Renner.
