Clangman Hamm Obituary

Mr. Clangman A. Hamm, age 93 of Brodhead, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at The Terrace in Berea, KY.

Clangman was born on March, 22, 1926, in Ottawa, KY to the late Guy Hamm and the late Mammie Marie Farris. He married Sue Hayes on December 20, 1952, and they enjoyed 52 years together prior to her passing in 2005. Clangman served in the Army during WWII, and worked as an inventory clerk at the Bluegrass Army Depot, was a member of Ottawa Baptist Church, and enjoyed farming and bird watching.

Those left to celebrate his life are his children: Michael Lynn (Suzanne) Hamm of Paint Lick, KY, and Debra Sue (Tom) Hamilton of Berea, KY; one grandson: Drew Thomas Hamilton; one sister: Clarice Payne of Dayton, OH, as well as several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Lynn Hamm, Jr.

Services for Mr. Clangman A. Hamm will be Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Visitation will begin at 10:30 until the funeral service at 1 pm with Bro. Michael Hail officiating. Burial will be at the Ottawa Cemetery.
