Mrs. Clella Jean Durham, 82 of Crab Orchard, wife of Bennie, passed away Monday, November 6th, 2017 at the Rockcastle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 16th, 1935 in Copper Creek, KY to the late William Henry & Cliffie (Childs) Rucker. On July 5th, 1956 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Bennie Durham and from that union came Odell, Owen & Marie. She had enjoyed sewing.
Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband of 61 years Bennie Durham; her children Owen (Peggy) Durham of Richmond, KY, Odell (Mary) Durham & Marie (Ricky) Hasty both of Copper Creek, KY; her grandchildren Bridgete, Ashley, Reanna, Matthew, Josh, Ethan & Adrianah; her great-grandchildren Chevy, Elizabeth, Jackson, Blake, Gavin & Ben; her sisters Evelyne Pingleton of Dalton, GA, & Pauline (Calvin) Morgan of Sweetwater, KY; her brother in law Dallas Morgan; as well as a host of friends and neighbors.
Besides her parents, Clella was preceded in death by her sister Jeraldine Morgan & brother in law Clarance Pingleton.
Visitation for Clella Durham will be held Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 from 6-9PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.
Funeral services will be conducted 1PM on Thursday, November 9th, 2017 at the funeral home with Bro. Randy McPheron officiating. Burial will follow in the Durham Cemetery.
