Clinton Junior Brown

Mr. Clinton Junior Brown, age 83, of Brodhead, husband of Joann, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

Clinton was born on October 31, 1935 in Quail, KY, to the late Tony Warren Brown and the late Christine Owens Brown.  He married Joann Cash Brown on May 3, 1954.  He was a farmer, served one term as a Magistrate for Rockcastle’s 3rd District, was a member of the Ottawa Baptist Church, enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball, and volleyball. 

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife of 65 years, Joann Brown of Brodhead, his daughter:  Mary Jo (Arthur) Hunt of Brodhead, KY; one grandchild:  Joseph Carlton Hunt; three brothers:  Cletis (Rose) Brown of Mt. Vernon, KY; Ronnie (Debbie) Brown of Brodhead, KY; and Billy Jo (Donna) Brown of Brodhead, KY; two sisters:  Bonnie Lawrence and Doris (Gary) Caldwell both of Brodhead, KY; along with many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother:  Robert Brown, a sister and her husband:  Marie Broughton and Bob Broughton; and brother-in-law:  Richard Lawrence.

Visitation for Mr. Clinton Junior Brown will be Friday, August 2, 2019 from 6-9pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 1pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Michael Hail and Bro. Bruce Ross officiating.  Burial will follow at Ottawa Cemetery.
