Daniel Lee Robinson

Mr. Daniel Lee Robinson, age 70, husband of Rose, of Mt. Vernon, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

Daniel was born on January 15, 1949, a son of the late John Alman Robinson, and the late Gladys Baker. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He was united in marriage to his wife Rose Wren on November 17, 1984. He was a member of the McNew Baptist Church, and enjoyed reading the bible, spending time with his grandchildren, and gardening.

Those left to celebrate his life are: his wife Rose Wren Robinson; his children: Renee Davis and Tim of Lancaster, KY, Jamie Robinson of Orlando, KY, and Daniel Devon Robinson of Mt. Vernon, KY; his grandchildren: Shea and Tye Davis; Stashia, Jacorey, and Nathaniel Washington; and Demarcus and Saniyah Robinson. His brothers Donald Robinson and Katherine of Orlando, KY, James Robinson and Edna of Orlando, KY, Harold Robinson and Debra of Mt. Vernon, KY, Lonnie Robinson of Mt. Vernon, KY, and Timothy Robinson (Kim) of Orlando, KY; his sisters: Patricia Artley of Orlando, KY, Hazel Moore of Orlando, KY, Louise Rigsby and Danny of Orlando, KY, and Sandra Smith and Jeff of Livingston, KY; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: John Jr. Robinson, and Wendell Robinson.

Services will be held at Brush Creek Holiness Church. Visitation will be Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6pm-9pm. Funeral will be Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11am, with Bro. Lonnie McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at Briarfield Cemetery.
