Donald Brown Obituary
Mr. Donald Ray Brown, age 84, of Mt. Vernon, KY, passed away Thursday, August 2nd, 2018, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, KY.
He was born February 14th, 1934 in Alma, Arkansas to the late JD and Ellen Crow Brown. He was a member of Church of the Breton, and the Water Department Commission. He loved animals, and enjoyed old cars and fishing. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by a wife of 20 years, Marie Therese Brown, his children; James Michael Brown of Alma, AR, Donna Lynn Brown of Muldrow, OK, Tamara Brown of Alma, AR, and Raylene Keith of Muldrow, OK; his step-children: Jack C. Garrett, Cleaborn P. Stewart, Raymond B. Stewart, and Betty Ann Bieker, a brother Dale Brown of Alma, AR; 37 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services for Donald will be Tuesday August 7th, starting with the visitation at 11am, then the funeral at 12pm, at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Paul Stutzman officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery in Brodhead.
