Mrs. Easter Layoff, 75 of London, departed this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2017 at the UK Hospital. She was born in Rockcastle County on February 23, 1942 to the late Burgess & Nellie (Jones) King. She was a nurses Aid by trade and enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, gardening & crocheting.
Those left to celebrate her life are: her children, Nelson Mason of Williamstown, KY, Noel Mason of Mt. Vernon, KY, Nola Mason, Nellie Mason, & Marlina Mason all of London, KY; twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her brothers James (Bessie) King of Mt. Vernon, KY, Estil Ray (Trenda) King of Mt. Vernon, KY, & Carl Randall King of Crab Orchard, KY; her sisters Carolyn (Coleman) Russell of Mt. Vernon, KY, Darlene (Rodney) Deathrage of Mt. Vernon, KY, Vicky (Larry) Lavely of Brodhead, KY & Raven Nora King of Berea, KY; as well as a host of nieces and neighbors, friends and neighbors.
Besides her parents, Easter was preceded in death by a child, Trina Mason Smolter, and a sister, Gearldine Thomas.
