Frances Faye Burdine

Frances Faye Saylor Burdine, age 77, of Brodhead, KY; widow of Frank Burdine, passed away Sunday, May 27th, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on May 3rd, 1941, a daughter of the late Morgan Saylor and Ella Emily Rector Saylor.  Frances was a member the Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church, she enjoyed reading, gospel music, Ginger - her dog, crossword puzzles, and Chinese checkers.  On December 20th, 1958 she was united in marriage to Frank Burdine, and from their union came their children: Dwight, David and Darrin Burdine.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her children: Dwight Burdine (Debbie) of Lawrenceburg, KY; David Burdine (Mary) of Eubank, KY; and Darrin Burdine of Brodhead, KY;  her grandchildren:  Kelly Norfleet (Jeff) of Nancy, KY; Danielle Burdine (Brian Brock) of Nancy, KY; Billy (Rachel) of Owenton, KY; David Newby (Desarai) of Lawrenceburg, KY;  Her great grandchildren: Lindsey Bell, Zachary Bell, Kadence Norfleet, Jolie Brock, Austin Newby, Justin Newby, Lexie Cook, Gracie Newby, Christopher Newby and Tristian Newby; one great-great grandchild; Adalynn Rose Newby. Her sister: Susan Daugherty (Dr. Larry) of Brodhead, KY; brother-in-law: Wayne Berry and sister-in-law; Alice Saylor. As well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister- Stacia Berry, brothers- Lloyd “Benny” Bennett Saylor and Morgan Bruce Saylor.       

Visitation for Frances Burdine will be Thursday, May 31st, 2018 from 11A.M.-2 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Funeral Home.  

Funeral services for Frances Burdine will be Thursday, May 31st, 2018 at 2 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Randal Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery.
