Gary Alvin Wilson

Mr. Gary Alvin Wilson, age 65, husband of Paulette of Brodhead, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 21st, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Gary was born in Berea, Kentucky on January13th, 1953, a son of the late Omer Alvin Wilson and Rose Mary Bishop Wilson.  He was a member of the Community Church of God in Crab Orchard, KY; he enjoyed family, motorcycles, horseback riding and loved water.

Those left to celebrate his life are: his wife: Paulette Chumbley Wilson of Brodhead, KY whom he married on December 21st, 1970 and from that union came three daughters: Michelle Burris (Bobby) of Richmond, KY; Tajuana Lane (Robert) of Brodhead, KY; Gari Sue Thacker (Shawn) of Brodhead, KY; seven grandchildren: Tyler Burris (Candice), Trevor Burris, Travis Lane, Stacey Lane, Hayden Thacker, Haley Thacker, Callie Thacker. One brother: Kenneth “Dooney” Stevens (Mary Lynn) of Louisville, KY; two sisters: Sue Halcomb (Eugene) of Brodhead, KY; Connie Moore of Brodhead, KY; several nieces, nephews and many friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by: Infant brother: Bobby Wilson

Visitation for Gary will be Thursday, January 25th, 2018 from 6-9 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals  

Funeral services for Gary will be Friday, January 26th, 2018 at 2 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Don Potts and Bro. James Harris officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Negro Creek Cemetery
