Gary Parsons Obituary

Gary W. Parsons, age 66, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, July 8th, 2018 at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on December 9, 1951 in Berea, KY to the late Wendell Evert “Jack” and Juanita Adams Parsons. He was a lab tech for Lubrizol – performance plastics in Louisville. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed agriculture.

Those left to celebrate his life are his children: Lola Lee and Tom Stein of Louisville, KY; Adam Wendell Parsons of Jeffersontown, KY; April Lynn Parsons of Louisville, KY; Amy Marie and Dian X. Zheng of Queens, New York, and Benjamin Tyler Parsons of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren: Molly, Livia, Emily, Ali, Amanda, River, Bryan, Andrew and Natalie: 6 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a grandchild, Elizabeth Parsons; and his brother, Dwight D. Parsons.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 3PM until time of service at 5PM.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 12th, 2018 at 5PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel.
