Harold "Poncho" Hoggard

Mr. Harold “Poncho” Hoggard, age 64, husband of Alma, passed away Tuesday, August 15th, 2017 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond with family by his side. He was born on Feburary 8th, 1953 in Holly Michigan to Warren Jean & Ella Mae (McDermott) Hoggard. On December 23rd, 1975 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Alma Jean and from that union came Jenifer & Krystal. He was a stone mason by trade and took great pride in building, wood work and his dog, Cindy. He was a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church.

Those left to celebrate his life are: his loving wife of 41 years, Alma Jean Hoggard of Orlando, KY; his daughters Jenifer Lynn (Jason) Didelot of Orlando, KY & Krystal Ann Hoggard of Mt. Vernon, KY; his grandchildren Elijah Matthew, Isaiah Daniel, Abigail Grace, & Mya Hope Didelot, all of Orlando, KY; his sisters Darlene (Charles) Davis of Deckerville, Michigan & Marlene Stallsworth of Mt. Vernon, KY; a special friend Jeff Carpenter, as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Harold was preceded in death by his father Warren Hoggard, and his grandchildren Jada Faith & Malachi Anthony Hayes.  

Visitation will be held from 6PM-9PM on Thursday, August 17th, 2017 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be conducted 2PM on Friday, August 18th, 2017 at the funeral home with Bros. Keith Carr & Jeff Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Casket Bearers will be Elijah, Isaiah & Jason Didelot, Jeff Carpenter, Adam Stallsworth and Abe Brown.
