Mr. Harold Dean Smith, age 64 of Berea, Kentucky, husband of Sheryl Durham Smith, passed away Monday January 20, 2014 at his residence in Berea.
Mr. Smith was born in Spiro, Kentucky on September 12, 1949, a son of the late Earl and Edna Pauline Bradley Smith. He was a twenty year employee of Tokico Manufacturing in Berea, and enjoyed muscle cars and working in the yard. On Mother’s Day of 2013, Harold made a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife: Sheryl Durham Smith of Berea, Kentucky; Four children: Stephanie Smith of Pendleton, Kentucky, Melissa (Mark) Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jonathan Bradley of Florence, Kentucky, Stephanie Bradley Angel of Berea, Kentucky; Five grandchildren: Jeffrey Smith, Nicholas Smith, Ashley Spencer, Morgan Keiner, Kinleigh Davidson,; Two great-grandchildren and an expectant third great-grandchild; Four brothers: Eugene (Betty) Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio, Donnie (Roxanne) Smith of Louisville, Kentucky, Roger (Cassie) Smith of Corydon, Indiana, Jeffrey (Donna) Smith of Brodhead, Kentucky; Four sisters: Barbara (Daryl) McFerron of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, Linda Fisher of Cincinnati, Ohio, Carolyn Damrell of Berea, Kentucky, Lisa Reams of Mount Vernon, Kentucky and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Besides his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by one brother: Larry Smith.
Funeral services for Mr. Harold Dean Smith will be conducted on Wednesday January 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Clyde Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Ottawa Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Harold Dean Smith will be held Wednesday January 22, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.
