Heather (Truett) Gillette

Mrs. Heather (Truett) Gillette, age 34, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019.

Heather was born on January 30, 1985 in London, KY to Larry Truett and Virtie Elizabeth Allen.  She worked at Cumberland River Comprehensive Care, was of the Holiness faith, enjoyed outdoors, swimming, family time, reading, rock collecting, and animals.

Those left to celebrate her life are her husband:  Johnathon Gillette, four children:  Sylus Myles and Shyamberly Elizabeth Gillette, and Syd Bryce and Seth “Ty” Bowman; one brother:  Larry Wayne Truett of Corbin, KY; one sister:  Jennifer Renee (Chris) Young of Lexington, KY; and her parents: George Miller, Virtie Elizabeth Allen, and Larry Truett.

Visitation for Mrs. Heather Gillette will be Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 6-8 pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, and funeral services will be Friday, September 27, 2019 at 2 pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Marcus Reppert officiating.  Burial will follow in the Allen Family Cemetery.  Pall Bearers will be:  Larry Truett, Thomas Allen, Russell Parms, Harold & Charles Miller, and Donna Tabor.
