Herbert Burton Obituary

Mr. Herbert “Leslie” Burton, age 51 of Ravenna, KY., and formerly of Brodhead, Ky. passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 in Ravenna, the results of an accidental drowning.

He was born on August 3, 1966 in Berea, KY., a son of the late Anna Mae Burton Lovett. Les had been a cabinet maker and a construction worker. He found great joy in building, cabinetry and riding his bicycle.

Those left to celebrate his life are: his sister, Patricia Carpenter (Chris Gifford) of Brodhead, KY; his niece: Ashley Ann Christian of Sidney, OH; and his special aunt, Julie Burton of Brodhead, KY; and Jim Rose of Irvine, KY, who raised him as his own son. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a son: Christopher Dale Burton and his grandparents, Grace and Everett Burton.

Visitation for Mr. Leslie Burton will be Wed. April 4th, 2018 from 11AM-3PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral services will be conducted Wed. April 4th, 2018 at 3PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Randal Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
