JAMES "JIMMY' HOUK Obituary

Mr. James Earl “Jimmy” Houk, age 38 of Brodhead, Ky. passed away Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on October 5, 1979 in Sumter, South Carolina, a son of Cecil and Kathleen Sowder Houk. Jimmy had been a construction electrician. He found great joy in sports, especially UK Basketball and also had a great love of music and his animals.

Those left to celebrate Jimmy’s life are: his parents, Cecil and Kathleen Houk of Brodhead, Ky; his brother, Jeffrey Houk and wife Jennifer of Brodhead,Ky; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Jimmy will be Monday, February 26, 2018 from 1PM-2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals; There will not be a funeral service. Burial will follow in Maretburg Cemetery.
