Mr. Joe Lewis Livesay, age 80, of Mount Vernon, KY, passed away Thursday, September 20th, 2018, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Joe was born to the late Homer J. Livesay and the late Lydia Houk Livesay, in Maretburg, KY, on September 10th, 1938. He was united in marriage to his wife Genera, on July 25, 1959, from that marriage came 2 Children. He was the owner of the Party Time Inn., a member of Brindle Ridge Baptist Church, and often enjoyed fishing, and shopping at the Flea Market.
Those left to celebrate his life are: his children: Joe Livesay Jr. of Maretburg, KY, and Stephen Daune Livesay of Cincinnati, Ohio; his grand-children: Stephanie, Stephen Lynn and Jamie Livesay, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; his great grand-children Jaden and London Livesay, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; Estella, Kye and Leo; his 3 sisters: Ruth Bonnie Bell and Don of Harrodsburg, KY, Ruby Connie Mullins of Harrodsburg, KY, and Pearl Burdette and Amos of Brindle Ridge, KY; as well as a host of friends and neighbors.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife, Genera Livesay; and his three brothers: Ben Jackson Livesay formerly of Springfield, OH, Leroy Livesay formerly of Lexington, KY, and Homer Livesay Jr. formerly of Hamilton, OH.
Services for Mr. Livesay will be Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, beginning with the visitation from 11am-1pm, followed by the funeral at 1pm, with Bro. Ron Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Maretburg Cemetery.
