Ms. Judy Zella Owens, age 57, of Brodhead, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019, at her home.

Judy was born on April 17, 1962 in Orlando, KY to the late Hubert Owens and Cynthia Cameron Culton. She farmed, enjoyed fishing and hunting deer and turkey and was of the Holiness Faith.

Those left to celebrate her life are her mother, Cynthia (David) Culton of Orlando, KY; two children: Cindy Ruth (John) Griffith of Mt. Vernon, KY and Lewis Dale (Adrienne) Cotton of Mt. Vernon, KY; three grandchildren: Dylan Griffith, Jaiden Cotton and Katie Day; one brother: Daniel Owens of Mt. Vernon, KY; and four sisters: Carolyn Easton of Mt. Vernon, KY, Roxie Marion (Roger) Rowe of Brodhead, KY; Charlotte Ruth McKinney of Richmond, KY, and Dianna Gale French of Richmond, KY; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one brother: Trenton Owens, and her fiancé: Vernon Alcorn.

Services for Ms. Judy Zella Owens will be Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, KY. Visitation will be from 11am to 2pm, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm, with Bro. Buford Parkerson officiating. Burial will follow at the Laswell Cemetery.

Pall bearers will be: Kevin Scott, Nathaniel Powell, Jeff Owens, Shane Rowe, Chris Powell, and Buster Rowe.
