Mrs. Kathy Lynn Mullins Powell, age 59, of Livingston, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at UK Medical center in Lexington, KY.

Kathy was born on January 1st, 1960 in Rockcastle County, a daughter of Bonnie Lucille Bullock Mullins and the late Boyd Wayne Mullins. She was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. She loves spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting and sewing, working in the flower beds, and cooking.

Those left to celebrate her life are her husband of 39 years, Eddie Powell; her mother Bonnie Lucille Bullock Mullins, her children: Clayton Powell and Melissa of Orlando, KY, Tina McGuire and Stoney of Livingston, KY, Amy Wyatt and Quentin of Livingston, KY, Casey Powell and Karen Livingston, KY; 12 grandkids: Jeremiah, Nathaniel, Emma, Jacob, Sabastien, Taylor, William, Benjamin, Rachael, Kaitlyn, Jaxson, Easton; two great-grandkids: Gabriel, and Jolene; her brothers: Randy Mullins and Teresa, and Ronald Mullins and Vickie; as well as a host of many friend and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her father: Boyd Wayne Mullins.

Services for Mrs. Powell will be held at Maple Grove Baptist Church, beginning with the visitation on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 6pm-9pm. Funeral will be Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 11am, with Bro. Jerry Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Powell Family Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Darren and Ben Allen, and Ronald, Travis, Brian, and Stephen Powell.
