Mr. Lewis Rowe, age 76, of Mt. Vernon, KY; passed away Monday, December 3rd, 2007, in the Rockcastle Hospital.
He was born on June 1st, 1931 in Mt. Vernon, KY; the son the late Robert Lee Rowe and Winnie Lee Price Rowe. He was a member of the Calloway Holiness Church. He enjoyed farming, coon hunting, honey bees, and knives.

Lewis Rowe, Jr. (Myrtle) of Mt. Vernon, KY; David Rowe of Mt. Vernon, KY; Roger Rowe (Roxie) of Mt. Vernon, KY; James Rowe (Shelia) of Brodhead, KY; Virginia Graves of Mt. Vernon, KY; Paul Rowe (Edna) of Mt. Vernon, KY; Judy Williams (Troy) of Berea, KY; and Glenn Dale Rowe of Mt. Vernon, KY; Sixteen grandchildren, Sixteen great grandchildren, One brother, Leon Rowe (Judy) of Mt. Vernon, KY; One sister - Shirley Rowe of Mt. Vernon, KY; and former wife Hazel Irene Rowe Graves. Special friends, Lee Eadds, and Carl Griffin, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, Bobby, Floyd, and Jerry Rowe, five brothers, Arthur, James E., Floyd, Stewart, and Donald Rowe; Two sisters, Elsie Rowe, Lorene Rowe McNutt.
Visitation for Mr. Louis Rowe will be Wednesday, December 5th, 2007 from 6 - 9PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, KY.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, December 6th, 2007 at 1 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Elsie Doan officiating; burial will followed in the Kirby Family Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Shane Rowe, P.J. Rowe, Steven Rowe, Jeremy Rowe, Tony Smith, Jason Burkhart, Carl Griffin, and Frankie Powell.
