Lloyd Wayne Vance

Mr. Lloyd Wayne Vance, 75 of Mt. Vernon, husband of Barbara, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at his residence with family by his side. He was born on November 26, 1941 to the late William & Isabelle (Kirby) Vance in Chestnut Ridge, KY. On July 3, 1963 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Barbara Kirby and from that union came Danny, Kim, Kathy, Noreen, Melissa & Satica. He worked for the Rockcastle School Bus Garage and enjoyed collecting knives and guns.

Those left to celebrate his life are: his wife of 54 years, Barbara Vance, his children Danny Vance of Mt. Vernon, KY, Kim (Steve) Hunter of Mt. Vernon, KY, Kathy (Joe) Baldwin of Crab Orchard, KY, Noreen (Joe) McClure of Mt. Vernon, KY, Melissa (James) Morris of London, KY & Satica Wagers of Mt. Vernon, KY; his grandchildren Nikki Vance, Casey McClure, Chandler Hunter, Nakeshia Pulliam, Zack McClure, Abby Woodall, Spencer Baldwin, Michaela Hunter, Austin Morris & Alyssa Wagers; his great grandchildren Bryce, Grayson, Amira, Phoenix, Sebastian, Myla, Harley & Hunter; as well as many friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his sister Loretta McFerron.

Visitation for Lloyd Vance will be held from 6-9PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Chestnut Ridge Church of God in Jesus Name.

Funeral services will be conducted 2PM on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the church with Bro. James Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Kirby Family Cemetery.

Casket Bearers will be: Chandler Hunter, Spencer Baldwin, Austin Morris, Zach McClure, Zake Woodall & Damien McDaniels.

Honorary Casket Bearer will be Casey McClure.
