Lorene Spoonamore age 83 went to be with the Lord, Saturday August 3, 2019. She was the daughter to the late Bill and Mary Deborde. She was united in marriage to Richard Spoonamore on November 21, 1949. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. She has always been a hard worker with creative ideas around the home. She enjoyed sewing and tending her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mary Deborde; husband of 52 years Richard Orville Spoonamore; son, David Spoonamore; sister and brother- in-law, Pauline and Bobby Joe Spoonamore; brothers, Chester Deborde, Ernest, Clyde, James and Ed and John Dee Bowling; grandson, Joey Spoonamore, Jr. She attended West Brodhead Church of God in Brodhead, Ky. She loved the lord and was a very sincere Christian woman.
She is survived by her daughters: Barbara Bussell (Jim) of Brodhead, Ky; and Debra Adams (Lance) of Brodhead, Ky. Her sons: Joey Spoonamore (Joyce) of Brodhead, Ky; Danny Ray Spoonamore of Brodhead, Ky. and Shannon Spoonamore (Kristi) of Brodhead, Ky; Her brother: Billy Jr. Deborde of Hamilton, Ohio. Grandchildren: Sherry Bussell, Marty Bussell, Rebecca Brown, Stephanie Blevins, David Anthony Spoonamore, Amanda Hopkins, Christopher Spoonamore, Misty Spoonamore, Rodney Spoonamore, Joshua & Matthew Spoonamore, Tiffany Spoonamore, Jason Woodall, Tabitha Bottoms, Talia Loudermilk, and Nickolas Richard Spoonamore. And several great, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Visitation will be Monday, August 5, 2019 from 11AM-2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, with funeral services following at 2PM, with Bro. Terry Orcutt officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Brodhead, Ky. where she will be laid to rest beside her husband and son.
